Jianzhong Wang

Director of the jury

Jianzhong Wang,doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University. Vice President of China Arts and Crafts Association; Vice President of China Ceramic Industry Association and executive chairman of Ceramic Art Committee; Member of China Artists Association, deputy director of arts and crafts committee of China Artists Association. Expert member of the working committee of Chinese arts and crafts masters, judge of the fifth and sixth Chinese arts and crafts masters, judge of the Second Session of Chinese Ceramic masters, deputy director of the Third Session of the judging committee. Chief planner of "Design China" (national ceramic design competition).

Jacques Kaufmann

Jacques Kaufmann was born in Morocco and holds dual French and Swiss citizenship. After ceramics studies at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Geneva, he opened his actual studio nearby Geneva, in France. Jacques Kaufmann was the chief of Ceramic Action Project for the Swiss and Rwanda Cooperation. He has taught at the Applied Art School in Vevey, Switzerland, in the position of Head of the ceramics department. Numerous solo and group exhibitions have been held worldwide. Head of ceramic art department, Swiss institute of applied arts. He is also the visiting professor of former central academy of arts and crafts, China Academy of Arts, Shanghai University and other domestic universities. Emeritus President of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC/AIC) .

Guangzhen Zhou

Guangzhen Zhou, Council Member of the International Academy of Ceramics-Representative of China; Received his master’s degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and San Jose State University in California. He is visiting Professor of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute; and Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts; International Academic Advisor of China Celadon Institute at Lishui College, Zhejiang Province; and a contributing writer or editor of several art magazines. Served as the curator of Abu Dhabi Chinese Contemporary Ceramic Art, UNESCO-NGO Beijing Forum - IAC International Ceramics Exhibition, juror of the 39th Gualdo Tadino International Ceramic Art Competition, Korean International Ceramic Biennale (GICB 2019).

Oriol Calvo-Vergés

Oriol Calvo-Verges is a curator and arts manager specialized in ceramics. He is director of the Ceramics Museum of Argentona (Barcelona, Spain) since 1986 and leaded AeCC, the network of 30 cities related to ceramics in Spain. He is also Council member of the International Academy of Ceramics, based in Geneva.

Ming Wu

Ming Wu is a senior arts and crafts artist, visiting researcher of purple sand Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Art,master of Chinese Arts and Crafts, master of Chinese Ceramic Art, Member of UNESCO International Academy of Ceramics(IAC/AIC), member of Chinese Artists Association, President of Ceramic Art Committee of Jiangsu Ceramic Association, editor-in-chief of Jiangsu Ceramic Art. Jiangnan university, Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts, Wuxi City Vocational and Technical College, visiting professor of Wuxi Vocational and Technical College of Technology, industry professor of Changzhou Textile and Garment Vocational and Technical College.

Bin Lu

Bin Lu was born in Beijing in 1961 and graduated from the department of arts and crafts of Nanjing art institute in 1988. In 1994, he established his first ceramic studio in Shenzhen. Now he is a professor of Design College of Nanjing Art University now, member of UNESCO International Academy of Ceramics(IAC/AIC), member of Chinese Artists Association, special researcher of Chinese Art Research Institute, member of Ceramic Art Committee of China Art Association, Vice President of Ceramic Art Committee of Jiangsu Ceramic Industry Association, Master of Ceramic Art of Jiangsu Province.

Xiaoming Shi

Xiaoming Shi is a Member of UNESCO International Academy of Ceramics (IAC/AIC), Professor of Arts and Crafts Artist, visiting scholar of Chinese National Academy of Arts, visiting researcher of Chinese Academy of Arts Zisha Research Institute, Jiangsu arts and crafts master, Jiangsu ceramic art master, Associate President of China Ceramics, standing director and deputy secretary general of Ceramic Art Committee. He has participated in planning many international and domestic exhibitions about the series of “the capital of ceramic - Yixing” for years and the curator of ceramic activities especially the series of s“Zisha Jiujun” exhibitions.
